Why You Should Attend This Summit:

Historically, satellites are massive in size and incredibly expensive to both develop and launch. To alleviate this problem, the US has turned its attention toward the advancement of small satellites which are proven to be more cost-effective and pragmatic. The advantages of small satellites are not just their drastically reduced cost, but also their increased ease of launch, flexibility, and increased ability to strengthen overall space capabilities.

The 5th Annual SmallSat and Space Access Summit will address efforts across DoD, IC, and Federal Agencies to ensure US space superiority through the development of small spacecraft and launch capabilities. Attendees will hear from senior leaders and experts from across the US Government, industry, and academic field who will highlight key technological advancements and the challenges that must be overcome to create a successful framework for successful space access. Additionally, the Summit will convene a panel of experts who will discuss the importance of exploiting SmallSat in enhancing the Nation’s understanding of Space and the Earth. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with senior leaders about recent changes to the national space enterprise and current critical capability gaps.
